Our Females

PFC Silver Queen "Hope"
Color: Gray, black & white
Eyes: Blue

Hope is our veteran mom and queen among the pack. She is definitely the Alpha around town and lets no one forget it! But unlike most rulers in history, she is very sweet and loving. She has been an exceptional companion to us, as well as a loving and devoted mom. We have decided to continue only her line, as her temperament and disposition are remarkable and she seems to pass those traits down to all of her children.

HSK Banshee Wind "Sylvie"
Color: Gray, black & white
Eyes: 1 Blue, 1 Amber

Sylvie is a mess, but in a good way! She is very loving and affectionate, but also shy around people she doesn’t know. Sylvie doesn’t join in the games with the other dogs as much, but when she is in the mood to play she is hilarious! She will bounce from side to side like a cartoon dog, and she reminds me of a “bobble-head” toy the way she bobs her head around! While all of her pups have been well-socialized and love to play, Sylvie seems to enjoy just hanging in the background and watching everyone else.

HSK Masked Promise "Chloe"
Color: Gray, black & white
Eyes: 1 Blue, 1 Amber

Chloe is the daughter of Hope and Paco and has truly taken the best from each parent. She is as sweet as the day is long, friendly and affectionate. She is also very laid back, especially for a husky, and prefers to let things roll off her back instead of making fusses. She is considered a "petite" husky, but what she lacks in size she more than makes up for in love!

HSK Sweet Dreamer "Senta"
Color: Gray, black & white
Eyes: Blue

Senta is Chloe's sister, but the two couldn't be more different. Senta is a wild-child - spirited and energetic and she is happiest taking down any of the other dogs in a wrestling match! She is loving and affectionate, almost to a fault, but when Hope isn’t around, Senta is all too happy to take on mom’s responsibility of keeping everyone in check. It seems that Hope has been grooming Senta to take over the pack one day.

HSK Carolina Breeze "Keeska"
Color: Gray & white
Eyes: Blue

Keeska is Senta & Xander's daughter, which makes her Hope & Paco's grandaughter. We knew we would be keeping a little girl from this litter, and when we saw Keeska's beautiful face at birth, we had a pretty good idea it would be her. Once she started getting a bit older and her personality started shining through, we knew there was no way we would be able to let her leave! She is so sweet and just plain happy to be alive! While she is still too young to play with the larger dogs, she lives to play with her mom. Everyday is a new discovery for Keeska, and it warms our hearts to watch her explore her world in wonder. Keeska will be joining our breeding program in late 2008/early 2009.

HSK Radiant Dawn "Pepsi"
Color: Red & white
Eyes: 1 Blue, 1 Green

Pepsi is our newest girl, the daughter of Chloe & Xander. In all her pictures, she looks so "girly" and delicate, but she is a tomboy through and through! She loves to roll and play in the mud and I swear she isn't happy until the is completely filthy! But she is sweet and loveable and just brightens our world! Pepsi will be joining our breeding program in mid-late 2009.

Our Males

HSK Crimson Saint "Mountie"
Color: Red & white, Splashcoat
Eyes: Blue

Mountie is our gentle giant, weighing in at a whopping 91 lbs! We think someone forgot to tell him that he is not a Yorkie, as he seems to believe he is a lapdog! Mountie is very diligent about making sure his territory is well known and once he is let into the play area for the day, he spends the first 30 – 45 minutes just making sure everything is still as it should be. He is definitely our “King Tut”!

HSK Arctic Night "Xander"
Color: Black & white
Eyes: Blue

Xander is a man on the move! He can’t seem to sit still for a moment and is going long after all the other dogs have called it quits and looking for some quiet time. Even trying to catch him for a hug is tough because he thinks you just want to play chase – but once you’ve got him, you realize it was well worth the effort. He is as gentle and sweet as he is handsome!

HSK Kindred Spirit
"Dimitri"

Color: Black & white, Wooly
Eyes: Blue

"Oh my gosh!" is the first thing people normally say when they see Dimitri, and it's no wonder why... he is stunning! We brought Dimitri home from a fellow breeder's home back in February '07, and even we can't get enough of looking at him! He is a "wooly", which means that he will always have the fluffy coat, and his classic mask amid startling blue eyes made our breath catch in our throats. But there is so much more to Dimitri than good looks! He is sugary sweet, and don't let his size fool you, he is the biggest baby! Dimitri is happiest, as are we, when he is snuggling and being snuggled back - if you can get around all that fur! He will be a pretty big boy, weighing in at 65 lbs. at only 10 months old, and we will begin breeding him in fall, 2007. WE CAN'T WAIT!

PFC Paco-Taco "Paco"
Color: Red & white
Eyes: Blue

Paco is, in a word, an affection-hound! He is always the first one to greet new people and the last one to say good-bye. Sadly, Paco was stolen from his pen in August 2005. We are still hoping that he will find his way home to us one day, but if not, we hope that the "individual" who was callous and heartless enough to steal him from our family has given him a good home and that he is happy. To insure this doesn't happen again, we have locked all doors to the pens and have "employed" two watchdogs. Paco may have been ripped from our home, but not our hearts. We love him still and miss him dearly!!!

Our Watchdogs

Faith
Faith is a Chow/Lab mix and perhaps one of the most gentle dogs I have ever known. She is a perfect family dog, as she would always let the kids do nearly anything to her and just roll her eyes and go along for the ride. Unfortunately, she was rolled by a car when she was just 6 months old, and the accident left her with some arthritis in her leg so she isn't as active as some of the other dogs, but is still good for a game of tag from time to time.

Wonder
Wonder may not look like much in the way of a guard dog, but she is really the only line of defense we need. No one can so much as come up our road without her alerting us to them, and she puts on quite a show if someone approaches the kennels! But on her down time when all is calm and as it should be, she is a love-bug - happy to sit at your side for hours at a time just wanting to be pet and loved on. We could never do without our Wonder-dog!
